Attorney III Duties: Provides legal advice to department program and policy staff and managers regarding public social services programs supervised or administered by the department that includes issues related to Community Care Licensing, Continuing Care Programs, Children and Family Services, and Group Home Rates. Will be the primary counsel for issues related to corporate accountability and entity application and enforcement. Conduct research and analysis on a broad range of issues, to prepare correspondence and legal research memoranda, to provide oral and written legal opinions, to analyze and advise on pending legislation affecting the department, to assist in drafting and review of department regulations, to review and advise on proposed federal regulations affecting the department's programs, to draft legislation, to provide training and information to department staff, and to provide litigation support to the Office of the Attorney General in all writs and lawsuits in which the department is involved.
Qualification and Experience

Possess superior analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written H. Possess superior interpersonal communication skills I.
