Procurement Policy Analyst - I Duties: Supporting one of the biggest federal government agencies. Assist the Policy and Analysis Staff in monitoring Federal, Department and Agency climate for changes in procurement policy and procedures; Assist in the preparation of written guidance to include policy letters, standard operating procedures and dashboards to document policy and inform Contracting Officers of current events; Oversee the development, implementation, and communication of policies that directly affect the terms and conditions set forth in contracts.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or 14 years of experience in Federal Contracting and/or Procurement Law. 10 years in Federal Government, 5 years in Federal Contracting and/or Procurement Law. Federal contracting or procurement experience that includes: Planning and evaluating programs and operations of an agency, office, or equivalent; Ensuring that agency regulations and guidance implement statutory requirements and sound policies of contracting; Overseeing the development, implementation, and communication of policies that directly affect the terms and conditions set forth in contracts. Law Degree or Masters Degree in Law or Procurement Law; Experience as a Federal, Warranted Contracting Officer and/or Procurement Lawyer desired.
