ProfileDirector Payer Marketing, CNS Duties: Ensures Franchise team has a deep understanding of underlying healthcare ecosystem/payer(Commercial, Part D, Govt., Specialty) dynamics in every therapy area in which we compete. Ensures the required payer insights, payer research and payer scientific advice is obtained to inform clinical development programs and existing product plans. For existing products, co-lead, along with HEOR, the development of the payer evidence needs and ensure this is integrated into the Medical/HEOR evidence plan. Works in close collaboration with colleagues in Medical and Marketing to ensure brand plans incorporate the needs of the patient, payer and healthcare provider. Leads the creation of robust value propositions for TPUSA products and tools for field-based teams; including innovative partnership agreements. Drives the development of pricing/contracting strategies working in collaboration with Legal and C&P.
Qualification and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA, PharmD or JD Degree preferred. 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience. 2-3 years' experience in payer marketing/market access related experience. Deep understanding of US payers required. Strong understanding of US payer market dynamics and how managed care organizations make decisions across commercial & public channels.
