ProfileStaff Attorney The candidate will have creative, flexible, and practical approach to resolving a wide variety of legal issues. Will implement and support compliance programs including ethics, FCPA, EEOC, anti-trust, etc., aligning with global policies and initiatives. Review, draft, and negotiate construction contracts for public and private projects. Review and provide legal advice on Requests for Proposal presented by public and private entities. Provide advice and training to Sales and Operations regarding contract negotiation, interpretation, and dispute resolution. Advise the Risk and Compliance Paralegal regarding insurance and surety bond issues. Additional support and responsibility may include: labor and employment, corporate compliance, and occasional litigation.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 5-7 years of experience as practicing attorney, with law firm litigation experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills is required. Must have substantial experience in legal drafting regarding contract issues, including motions practice. Preferred candidates have experience litigating complex construction disputes, including delay, disruption, and payment claims. Should have strong academic credentials. Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills is required. Fluency in Spanish is welcome.
