Chicago Litigation Fellow The fellow will be developing and litigating cases in collaboration with other members of the Team, and under the supervision of senior attorneys. Will mentor and supervise interns and paralegals/legal assistants, and may have institutional responsibilities like leading trainings and serving on committees.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree from a U.S. law school. Admission to the Illinois Bar, or commitment to sit for the next Bar exam and to fulfill the admission requirements within the first few months of the fellowship. Hands-on litigation experience, such as a judicial clerkship, other post-graduate litigation work, or substantial clinical experience. Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral presentation skills. Excellent academic and professional record. Comfort interpreting and explaining scientific and technical concepts. Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for teamwork. Commitment to public service or social justice work.
