Iselin office of our client seeks attorney with 3-5 years of experience in creditor's rights, mortgage default and/or litigation practice. The candidate will manage assigned portfolio of client cases, including foreclosure actions, title litigation, and lender liability defense. Will draft and review foreclosure documents, including complaints, orders of reference, motions for summary judgment, judgment applications and deeds. Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, codes and the like. Communicate effectively with clients, internal staff and others to ensure cases are handled appropriately. Input and maintain information into case management system and ensure data integrity. Attend hearings, settlement conferences, depositions and other appearances as necessary. Establish a strong follow-up system to ensure compliance with court. Foreclosure experience with lenders and mortgage services in the state of practice is preferred. Creditor's Rights Bankruptcy experience is a plus. Litigation skills is a plus. Previous experience with electronic case management systems is preferred. Knowledge of state and federal laws related to practice areas, legal codes and court procedures, is required. New York Bar Admission is required. NJ and/or PA Bar admission is a plus.
