Director of Class Action Solutions The candidate will report to the Vice President of Business Development. Will use knowledge in the arena of class action and mass litigation. Develop relationships and sell services to new accounts as well as additional solutions to current customers. Cultivate and maintain key relationships and current customer base in the assigned sales region of the US. Gather and select sources of information to determine market characteristics, measurements of market potentials, market share analyses, and sales analyses. Call on prospective clients to explain the services. Analyze claims processing requirements of prospective client. Draw up prospectus of data processing plan designed specifically to serve client's needs. Quote prices for services outlined in prospectus. Revise or expand prospectus to meet client needs. Display or demonstrate product emphasizing salable features. Prepare sales contract, write order and schedules initiation of services. Communicate with internal colleagues on any special needs or requirements of the client. Ensure problem resolution and smooth flow of communication through the length of the engagement. Promote and provide additional value-added services to the client outside of those agreed upon and contracted for.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. A J.D. degree is strongly preferred. Prior legal sales experience with a track record of success in revenue generation is essential. A plaintiff or defendant attorney with 2-4 years of experience and interested in continuing to utilize legal background, but no longer wishes to practice within the structure of a law firm, will be preferred. A well-established legal network from which to leverage new business is essential. Should be able to travel to quarterly conferences as necessary (locations vary throughout the US).
