Commercial Litigation Counsel Candidate will manage company's payment and collection disputes with payors, including drafting demand letters, negotiating settlements, drafting settlement agreements, and managing arbitration and litigation. Assist the Assistant General Counsel – Commercial Litigation in managing litigation, including coordinating discovery, managing dispute resolution and litigation strategy, and attending corporate depositions, hearings, and trials. Support company's executives and other attorneys in developing legal strategies. Will report to Director, Assistant General Counsel – Commercial Litigation.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate should have J.D. Degree with 3+ years of legal experience and State Bar qualification and good standing. Law firm experience is required. In-house experience is a plus. Substantial experience in commercial litigation matters is required. Working knowledge of ERISA, health insurance policies, and contracts between healthcare providers and payors is desired.
