Regional Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor Duties: The candidate will provide legal advice and technical assistance on matters relating to such cases. Assist with pre-trial investigations. Act as lead or associate counsel when requested or assigned. Represent the state in designated DWI and traffic dockets when requested or assigned, prepare briefs, legal memoranda, and other pleadings for use at hearings, trials, or on appeal of such cases. Assist the Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP) in providing training programs for prosecutors and law enforcement in methods of gathering evidence, especially in emergency technology, and trial techniques. Prepare periodic articles and other written material for prosecutors and law enforcement regarding "hot topic" issues and participate in national and state meetings to keep apprised of the most current information on traffic safety issues.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Must have 2 years of pqe. And A Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and an active license to practice law in North Carolina. Deadline: 12 December 2016.
