Staff Attorney - Civil Division The candidate will provide civil legal services to indigent clients throughout organization’s service area. Service area may include rapidly growing border communities or rural areas. Depending on the practice area or the community, the attorney might litigate complex cases in federal courts, engage in transactional work for colonia residents, or develop a litigation-oriented practice in the state courts in the region. Must be licensed to practice law in Texas, or willing to waive into the Texas Bar, or willing to take the next available Bar exam, in that order of preference. Spanish fluency is important.
