Attorney The candidate will handle debt collection cases in multiple courts on a regular basis. Will perform legal research and writing for a variety of different kinds of cases. Draft pleadings and other court documents. Occasionally draft elder law and estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, POA's and living wills. Possibly handle and work on some Medicaid planning/applications. Complete work assigned by other attorneys in the firm in a timely manner. Attend court hearings and try trials if assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a degree from an ABA approved law school. Should have a license to practice law in the State of Indiana. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience as a licensed attorney. Courtroom experience is needed. Experience with Medicaid or handling Medicaid applications is essential. Jury trial experience is a must.
