Claims Adjuster-Auto/Bodily Injury Duties: Handle a caseload of commercial auto claims of low to moderate exposure and complexity for property damage and bodily injury (BI) claims. Manage a caseload through resolution, and in accordance with Best Practices and authority limits. Communicate regularly with customers and brokers, and may be dedicated to handling of specific accounts.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of personal or commercial auto claims handling – OR High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with 4+ years of personal or commercial claims handling OR JD Degree with 2+ years of auto claims litigation experience. Customer service experience. The ability to obtain and maintain the required adjuster license. Computer literate. Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree. Commercial auto claims experience. AIC, SCLA and/or CPCU designation. Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and customer service skills. Advanced data gathering and problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to effectively present information to LOB manager, claimants and customers.
