Quality Assurance Associate (Contract) The candidate will work directly on multiple high-profile litigation projects for some of the world’s leading law firms and experts. Projects include complex discovery support and document review, as well as supporting clients in the research and drafting of expert reports and other documents filed with the court. Ensure that work product provided to clients is of the highest quality. Specific responsibilities include working closely with company’s credit professionals to review responses to specific allegations of deficiencies in underwritten loan files, to monitor consistency, copy editing, and stylistic drafting preferences and other ad hoc direction delivered or communicated by retained experts throughout the course of the review. In addition, assist Project Managers with analysis, research, drafting and live client presentations.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Juris Doctor or undergraduate degree with excellent academic credentials and exhibited focus in writing and research. Previous experience with legal writing and case management preferred. Previous litigation experience, or experience in data-intensive research and report drafting, preferred. Knowledge of residential mortgages and the mortgage-backed securities market preferred. Previous experience in one or more of the following is preferred: quality assurance; operations; loan documentation; regulatory compliance; loan servicing; or underwriting. Should have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
