Commercial Litigation Associate The candidate will be managing complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation around the globe. Will be servicing a diverse clientele in various matters including: products liability, commercial litigation, accountants' liability, securities litigation and regulatory enforcement, corporate governance, special investigations, environmental litigation, trusts and estates, insurance and reinsurance, and intellectual property. Representing public and private companies, prosecuting and defending a wide range of complex commercial claims in federal and state courts and arbitration proceedings. Defending clients' interests in matters to include class actions, securities, contract disputes, insurance coverage controversies, environmental issues, fraud claims, and bankruptcy and collections actions. Required license or certification:Wisconsin Bar. Should have 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience. Experience in a major law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) is essential. Experience in researching complex legal issues, drafting legal memoranda and motions, appearing and arguing before the court, drafting and responding to written discovery, and taking and defending depositions is needed.
