In-House Litigation Counsel The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management of group’s litigation throughout the Western Region, with a particular focus on Latin America, as well as the provision of legal advice in connection with the management of legal risk. Will serve in the selection and management of external counsel, including careful control of costs. Identification and management of legal risks affecting group. Provision of advice and counsel on a wide range of commercial disputes and litigation matters, including labor and employment (U.S. and Latin America), personal injury, bankruptcy, and regulatory matters. Analysis and reporting of litigation affecting group, including identification of risk mitigation measures.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a JD degree from an accredited law school. Must have 5-6 years of law firm and/or in-house experience. Substantive knowledge of a wide range of commercial disputes and litigation matters, including labor and employment (U.S. and Latin America), personal injury, bankruptcy, and regulatory matters needed. Should be Member in good standing in Texas or other State Bar. Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
