Staff Attorney The candidate will review and develop pre-hearing cases, conduct legal research and write pre-hearing brief memorandums for disability hearings at the ALJ and Appeals Council levels, and respond to client questions (mostly via telephone.) Must be either a recent law school graduate (law clerk) or a recently licensed attorney (staff attorney) to help to represent disability clients from main office. Excellent legal writing skills are required. Knowledge of social security law is preferred.
