Compliance Officer The candidate will assist the Regional Compliance Officer, Global Financial Crimes Group in the Americas Region, with the ongoing activities related to the development, implementation and maintenance of company's global sanctions, anti-money laundering and anti-bribery and corruption programs (collectively, “Financial Crime Risksâ€). Assist in the development and maintenance of company’s Financial Crime Risk programs and assist corporate functions and business units globally to address such risks. Assist with review and resolution of global matters relating to Financial Crime Risk programs. Serve as a resource for the Americas region to provide guidance to business units and corporate functions, and serve as an escalation point regarding the Financial Crime Risks. Provide best-practice advice to the regional compliance function and regional business units to ensure they have appropriate procedures and processes in place to support company’s Compliance Risks programs. Provide advice to the business in the region on Financial Crime Risks, related matters and assist the compliance review staff within the group with sanctions screening review questions, as appropriate. Assist with development and delivery of Financial Crime Risks training programs to company employees. Occasionally provide one-on-one Financial Crimes Risk program training. Participate in the development and implementation of on-going monitoring of Financial Crime Risk programs to evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. Should have knowledge of, and experience with, international trade regulations and sanctions (OFAC), anti-money laundering (AML), bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations, and an interest in learning about sanctions screening programs and reviews processes . A strong education including an undergraduate degree; graduate degrees in relevant areas of study preferred. Law degree preferred. Must have 5-7 years of relevant experience. Should have an interest and ideally some experience with global legal and regulatory compliance frameworks.
