Litigation Support Senior Project Manager The candidate will provide project management support across multiple practice areas. Will support and contribute to the development and implementation of e-Discovery and Litigation Support project management best practices, tools and techniques, and provide user training on e-Discovery and Litigation Support processing and review software. Work closely with partner and lawyer teams supporting the efficient management of client engagements through scoping/pitching, planning, managing/monitoring, matter completion and review. Champion and support the build out of Litigation Support Project Management (LSPM) capability across the firm and identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation and assist with the development of solutions. Work with Litigation Support Manager to ensure legal teams are using appropriate, innovative and cost-effective technologies in managing the discovery process. Provide in-depth consulting on e-discovery issues and work with client legal and IT departments to analyze and advise on responses to discovery requests. Assist legal teams to determine appropriate internal or external litigation support applications. Manage implementation of support applications. Manage data transfer and storage, utilizing firm policies and best practices. Participate in post-project analysis to discover workflow inefficiencies and obstacles and to apply quality control processes and improvements to the discovery process. Assist in directing the provision of firm-wide technical assistance for Relativity, West's Case Notebook, CaseMap, TimeMap, Sanction, and various other internal and external litigation software. Coordinate electronic and paper document discovery, including processing, scanning, coding, review and productions. Coordinate trial support, depositions, video depositions, live transcripts, and full text searching of transcripts. Troubleshoot litigation-specific software programs. Ensure expertise in relevant technology and use most current technology. Participate in appropriate industry organizations, staying current with developments in litigation technology.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. Master's or J.D. degree is preferred. Relativity-certified Administrator preferred. Formal project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP desired. ACEDS certification a plus. Must have 10+ years of experience in litigation technology, preferably in a large volume vendor environment. Law firm experience a plus. Project Leader experience and in-depth hands-on experience processing and producing ESI required. Should understand project management methodology and be able to adapt it to suit the needs of a legal/professional services environment. Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma project/process management principles desired. Must be comfortable as an advisor to attorneys, paralegals and other support staff with differing levels of technical knowledge and be able to assist them accordingly. Experience using various litigation support applications, including: Relativity, Nuix, Law, Sanction, Westlaw Case Notebook, Case Map, TimeMap. Experience with Document Management Systems, Project Extranets, MS Project, and SharePoint a plus. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Adobe, SnagIt, Snippet, X1 Professional, and PageVault an asset. Must be available and willing to work extra hours as needed.
