Executive Assistant - Legal (Paralegal II) Duties: Support person for the general counsel, legal staff, and the law department. Provides assistance and support to the general counsel and legal staff in gathering information, researching the law, and preparing opinions and legal documents; expected to effectively implement the administrative functions of the office; perform tasks in legal research, support, and editing; and assist the general counsel in the administration of general legal work and litigation to carry out the mission of the organization.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Paralegal certificate required. 3-5 years of experience in the role of a paralegal, legal administrator or executive legal secretary is highly preferred. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with strong sense of professionalism and emotional intelligence. Ability to communicate professionally, with proficiency in the use of English and legal terminology. College coursework in law or related field is highly preferred. Formalized training as a paralegal is required. Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft windows, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft projects, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills. Word processing and excellent typing skills. Able to perform detailed assignments, work under pressure and independently. Must be able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
