Legislative Assistant/Project Assistant The candidate will be handling a range of legislative and administrative tasks. Will undertake a range of tasks and responsibilities that facilitate and coordinate the activities of the practice group. Assisting attorneys with research, drafting on and tracking a variety of topics related to business development, client updates and request for proposals; preparing correspondence and external written communication; drafting/comparing transactional documents; assisting in the preparation and review of transactional documentation including assembly, tracking and distribution of all closing documents; providing assistance to lawyers at closing; performing legal research; conducting review of newly enacted legislation for client summaries and e-Alerts and providing administrative support to lawyers.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: College degree or paralegal certification required. Ability to organize multiple projects, manage closings and handle document distribution, checklists and post-closing issues is a plus. Excellent technical, interpersonal, research and organizational skills are essential to be successful in this position. Candidates must have a proven track record of being able to multi-task, communicate effectively and meet deliverables.
