Legal Document Review Specialist The candidate will analyze and interpret acquired data and documents to determine the company’s legal authority to collect deficiency balances. Confirm receipt of all foreclosure documentation required by federal, state, and/or municipal laws; follow up as appropriate. Analyze available data and documents to determine company’s legal authority to collect. Interpret, summarize, and notate data in debtor’s file. Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to resolve issues. Consistently represent the company in a professional manner. Other duties assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Paralegal degree/certificate or equivalent experience. Should have specific experience in foreclosures and/or mortgage collections (esp. deficiency collections). Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Should have knowledge of the foreclosure litigation process and collection laws and familiarity with legal documentation. Must have knowledge of attorney business processes. Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills. Solid verbal and written communication skills are needed.
