Litigation and eDiscovery Services Analyst The candidate will work under the direction of the Litigation and eDiscovery Services Director. Will provide technical litigation support to LeDS eDiscovery paralegals, attorneys, paralegals and, as required, clients. Will be responsible for handling client data in accordance with proper chain of custody protocols in a way that ensures all media is tracked and stored in accordance with firm procedures. Coordinate with LeDS eDiscovery paralegals to design databases and establish workflows to support efficient document reviews and search and retrieval. Generate reports and perform quality control on document productions from our in-house Relativity databases. Process electronic material in eCapture. Provide assistance to legal teams with Relativity, LiveNote, CaseNotebook, and Trial Director, in coordination with the LeDS eDiscovery paralegal. Perform data loads into supported litigation systems as appropriate. Monitor changes in the litigation support software industry. Keep accurate time records. Prepare material for in-house and outside distribution.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in a law firm or eDiscovery vendor environment. Should have expertise in litigation support or litigation paralegal background with strong technical skills. Must have technical expertise in the creation, organization, and maintenance of large databases. Should have the ability to assist in full-cycle electronic case data from inception to trial or case closing. Should also have the ability to analyze a problem or project quickly and accurately, and work with the LeDS eDiscovery paralegal to implement solutions. The ability to work as part of a team to manage and track discovery data is required. Must have an understanding of business information systems and fluency in standard MS Office applications. Should have an ability to quickly master new litigation software. Certifications or equivalent on-the-job experience with Relativity, LiveNote, CaseNotebook, and Trial Director essential.
