Seeking a Legal Assistant to support 4 attorneys litigation practice. Client contact liaison for attorneys. Court filing in Washington state and federal courts. Manage discovery for high volume practice, including workers’ compensation, general personal injury and employment law practice in state and federal court. Manage attorneys’ litigation calendars, including docket and track all litigation deadlines on multi-calendar system, assist attorneys in deadline completion, schedule depositions and other appointments, and manage attorney workflow. Compile litigation support documents, including medical records, exhibits, and documents for experts. Assist with completion of discovery responses. Trial / Hearing / Deposition support. Manage Trial / Hearing / Deposition Notebook and Exhibit Preparation. Should have 3-5 years of litigation experience and Bachelor’s Degree. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (exchange email, documents, spreadsheets, calendars, presentations) is needed. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Professional (documents, pagination, collation, signatures) is required. Proficiency in ProLaw 12 or equivalent legal database and document population and calendaring software is needed. Proficiency in electronic and paper court filing is needed. Proficiency in the Washington Court Rules and Federal Court Rules is essential. Proficiency in docketing and tracking litigation deadlines is needed.
