Legal/Contract Coordinator Job Description Duties: Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for providing legal support by performing a variety of duties related to the legal affairs, its subsidiaries and affiliates, as assigned by the Executive Vice President, General Counsel. Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management. Assures quality customer service to all customers. Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy. Serves as the contract database administrator. Manages contract management database, contract files, and the contract review and approval process. Educates and trains internal users on the contract management database and the process for contract review and approval. Accurately and timely enters all relevant contracts, licensure, and other related data into the database for operational, auditing, compliance, due diligence, and other relevant purposes. Prepares draft contracts and forms using BSI’s standard templates under direction of counsel. Prepares and monitors applications and renewals for licensure, registration, trade names and trademarks, and other corporate documents for BSI and related business entities. Establishes and maintains files and filing system, including the maintenance of files in MediTract, SharePoint, and other appropriate systems for the retention of electronic, paper, and other records. Assists in preparation and maintenance of corporate minutes, board book materials, and other corporate records for BSI and related business entities and their respective governing boards. Performs administrative, secretarial, and legal services under the direction and support of the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and any other legal staff members. Provides administrative support to Administrative Manager and Executive Management Team, when requested. Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Certificate of Paralegal Studies or higher level of certification/education preferred. 5 years of administrative support experience required. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Experience with MediTract® Solution or similar contract management database system preferred. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or similar document control system preferred. Experience working in a corporate environment preferred. Skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all privileged and other proprietary or non-public information. Must have proficient computer skills. Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization, and problem solving skills. Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities. Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
