Legal Assistant The candidate provides administrative support to the Business and Legal Affairs executive team. Primary responsibilities include: Managing and coordinating departmental administrative matters and office services; Coordinating daily/weekly/monthly calendars and schedules; Scheduling conference calls and appointments, answering phones; Managing online document databases and uploading contracts; Creating and maintaining project files; Updating project-related spreadsheets and charts; Handling internal and external correspondence; Facilitating travel arrangements and preparing expense reports; Utilizing practical knowledge of procedures to handle the administrative needs of the department.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have 1-3 years of experience as a legal assistant in a business and legal affairs department or at a private practice law firm, preferably in the entertainment industry. Must have familiarity with general entertainment industry contracts and procedures. Should have proven ability to multi-task at a very high level and work with a heavy workload and successfully meet deadlines. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Should have high-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Access for Windows. Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and provide attention to detail.
