Paralegal II The candidate will prepare fund prospectuses and related documents as well as filing of registration statements with the SEC. Preparation of other mutual fund disclosure documents including supplements and proxy statements.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association. Paralegal certificate is required by certain state laws. Must have knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Form N-1A. A baccalaureate degree or an advanced degree in any subject, 1+ year of law-related experience under the supervision of an attorney who has been an active member of the State Bar of California for preceding 3+ years or has practiced in the federal courts of this state for at least the preceding three years, and a written declaration from this attorney stating that the person is qualified to perform paralegal tasks. 3+ years of paralegal experience. 3+ years of mutual fund paralegal or comparable legal experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. Strong analytical, organizational and research skills essential. Strong attention to detail necessary. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. High level knowledge of MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Closing date: 08/14/2015
