Business Development Coordinator Duties: Support Senior/Manager and Specialist in implementation of tactical elements of respective business development (BD) plans and programs for Corporate and departments/teams. Maintain and update collateral, representative work and website content. Coordinate with Marketing Communication Team on seminars, webinars, receptions, sponsorships and attorney speaking engagements (includes: invites/eCommunications, agenda prep, materials management, RSVPs, website presence, external sponsors, etc.). Support league tables/rankings submissions. Maintain and update, as appropriate, Corporate Department lntranet presence. Support Corporate Department meetings and office initiatives. Track targeting efforts, including win/loss and ROI. Handle special projects, as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree. 1+ year of experience in marketing, business and practice development, or a related field; exposure to a law firm environment is a plus. An interest in or previous work experience with Corporate, M&A/Investment Banking. Excellent time management and multitasking skills. Proven ability to exercise professional judgment. Good planning and organizational skills. Solid attention to detail, ensuring a quality product. Proven ability to build relationships with a wide range of people. Interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse group of attorneys, staff and vendors. Ability to analyze situations and make on-site decisions quickly and effectively. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to understand the “big picture,†determine role within it, and offer suggestions/ recommendations on how to achieve goals. Knowledge and understanding of the principles of business entertaining and event planning. Strong knowledge of relevant technology/software. Willingness to travel. Ability to manage multiple projects and keep them moving on track.
