Support 2-3 attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions in multiple North Carolina counties. Conduct full and update title searches for commercial transactions. Draft documents necessary for closing, including closing statements, corporate documents, deeds, deeds of trust, affidavits, closing binders and loan document packages. Coordinate transactions as paralegal support for attorneys representing buyer/borrower, seller and lender. Prepare and review leases. Review multiple parcel, shopping center and apartment complex surveys. Prepare draft preliminary and final title opinions and coordinate title commitments and issuance of policies. Conduct legal research for conversation easements and deeds of conservation. Interactive with clients, banks, conservation groups, individuals, developers, brokers, surveyors and title companies to coordinate to transactions.
