Corporate Paralegal Duties :Have to look upon day-to-day administration, oversight and handling of legal matters including supervision of matters handled by outside counsel, basic legal research, drafting of legal and business communications, filing preparations, general file and database management, organization of all required matters and general assistance of Capital Markets attorneys as necessary. Process all pertinent legal documents and correspondence under the supervision of in-house legal counsel. Preparation of proposals and related materials for Board of Directors meetings. Review of agreements with key business partners and vendors. Coordinate with outside counsel. Handle day-to-day administration of contracts for review and execution and other pertinent documents. Maintain complete and accurate files for all matters including files contained in electronic database. Respond to internal and external inquiries. Schedule and organize meetings.Preparation of legal documents, correspondence, dictation, memos etc.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications : Certificate from ABA approved program preferred. College degree preferred. Capacity to process and disseminate information quickly and with precision. Independent, self-motivated person; preferably with 2+ years of corporate experience. Prior experience with litigation a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including a working knowledge of Excel. Strong research, written and communication skills.
