Corporate Legal Assistant The candidate will advice on the largest and most complex corporate transactions and litigation matters in industries which include financial services, insurance, power and natural resources, consumer products, services, technology, telecommunications, media, pharmaceuticals, healthcare industries, cross-border finance, banking and bank regulation, mergers and acquisitions, securities issuance, regulation, project asset based finance, real estate, asset management, joint ventures, taxation, litigation and dispute resolution are important aspects of the Firm s practice.The Corporate Legal Assistant will maintain case files, preparing documents for production, organizing and maintaining case or other files, updating and maintaining data bases, preparing closing books, obtaining information for internal and external sources and performing other tasks as needed. Will complete forms required for the formation and qualification of corporations and partnership. Organize and maintain working files and important papers, paper and e-mail correspondence, inter-office memoranda and attorney work product, chronologies and legal research. Conduct research in support of corporate searches; review public documents through the use of EDGAR, Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw and the Internet. Utilize and manage electronic databases, including SharePoint and Internet repositories. Assembling electronic documents; proofread and organize documents; prepare bound volumes following completion of a transaction of necessary documents; organize and distribute post-closing documents. Maintain virtual data rooms. Can organize, prioritize, plan and multi-task work activities in a high pressure environment with attention to details and deadline. Work independently or in a team with limited supervision. Flexible to work late and on holidays/weekends and travel when necessary.

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. should have Knowledge of legal principles and practices acquired through formal paralegal training or its equivalent is plus. Should have one year of experience as a Corporate Legal Assistant or relevant work experience. Present information verbally and in writing is required. Proofread for contextual, grammatical and spelling errors is needed. Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite is needed. Proficiency with Internet research and legal research databases, Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis is needed Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are needed. Knowledge of iManage, Concordance, FileSite, DAPS, LiveNote is preferred
