Profile

Legal Coordinator Duties: Under direct supervision of the Associate General Counsel, will provide administrative research support for the Legal Department. Filing and producing a variety of correspondence and preparing reports. Scan, index and log all complaints and follow-up documentation received from the Departments of Insurance, Better Business Bureau, consumers and attorneys. Scan, index and log all litigation and subpoenas. Request documentation/details from Department management necessary to respond to all complaints files. Complete complaint trend logs for upper management to review as requested. Offer administrative support during market conduct examinations and other associated audits conducted. Provide assistance to the Paralegal, Legal Affairs Specialist and Legal Assistant.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: High-school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years office background preferably in an administrative assistant type role. Business courses helpful. Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft office. Type 60-70 wpm. Excellent Oral and Written correspondence abilities with competency in grammar, spelling and punctuation. Strong interpersonal and management expertise required. Must have a high-level of integrity and the expertise to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated initiative (self-motivated/self-starter). Detail oriented. The expertise to work in a high energy environment.
