Paralegal The candidate will assist in scheduling and preparation for arbitration hearings and other legal support in matters as assigned by the Legal Director. Will coordinate, track and schedule arbitrations and other proceedings that are handled by the department and/or assigned to outside counsel. Assist in all aspects of arbitration preparation including timely scheduling of arbitration cases, assistance with exhibits and subpoena preparation. Prepare and file unfair labor practice proceedings at the National Labor Relations Board and assist in other administrative proceedings. Perform research related to arbitrations, collective bargaining history and other legal issues. Gather and process evidence for grievances, arbitrations and administrative proceedings. Create draft reports to the firm Board of Directors regarding the Legal Department's case load. Assist in drafting correspondence and other documents transmitted or filed by the Legal Department. Assist in scheduling and tracking of confidential employment and union matters. Perform other related activities/duties as assigned. Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. Proficiency in MS Office (Particularly Microsoft Excel) essential.
