Paralegal/Legal Assistant Duties: Providing support to the management team, including the Head of Legal/HR and CEO. Assist with contract management and project file organization. Coordinate corporate documentation and signing of corporate legal documents; maintain corporate document files. Support corporate counsel with contract negotiations. Support in-house counsel with document process flow, contract management, contract execution, file management. Manage legal request mailbox. Review and manage Non-disclosure and Mutual Confidentiality Agreements. Maintain corporate records including annual corporate filings with various regulatory agencies. Provide expert-level administrative support to Head of Legal and HR. Independently manage C-level calendars, travel and expenses. Provide general administrative support. Assist in scheduling, expense reports, and travel coordination for members of the team. Managing and tracking legal invoices. Draft correspondence; proof-reading. Projects and special assignments, as needed, with limited supervision.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in BA /BS Degree. Preferred Paralegal Certificate. Preferred Notary. 3-7 years of relevant experience. Pro-active in a fast paced environment; start-up experience is a plus. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to multi-task, set priorities, meet deadlines. Confidence and ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization. Dependable and trustworthy.
