Administrative Paralegal - Transactions Responsibilities: Will maintain and update an electronic filing system in accordance with established procedures; generate, organize and maintain large volumes of agreements, memoranda and other legal documents; assist with queries and reports in a fast paced environment; assist in-house counsel in the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of various commercial documents including supply agreements, vendor agreements, distributor agreements, consulting agreements, leases, licenses and non-disclosure agreements; review existing agreements and provide an analysis of the rights and obligations of the contracting parties. Communicate with in-house clients and outside partners on a variety of matters, including strategic alliances, business development opportunities, and various corporate and real estate matters; serve as liaison between internal business personnel and external counsel; and perform on-line research regarding various legal matters, including contractual, real estate and intellectual property matters.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of database experience. Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certificate and/or transactional paralegal experience preferred. Corporate experience is a plusKnowledge of Sharepoint, MS Office, Acrobat, Lotus Notes and/or Database Systems. Strong project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to work occasional overtime as requested. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Ability to work independently and collectively.
