IT Vendor Manager Duties: Will report to Supplier Governance Office Supplier Relationship Manager. Will work with global IT clients to implement the governance framework and processes with the assigned select global suppliers. Relationship and governance management will include: refining and developing a supplier roadmap/business plan, ongoing business reviews, issues and risks monitoring, and performance monitoring of contracted service level agreements (SLA). Contract management responsibilities will include: ongoing contract training, facilitating contract reviews, contract changes, developing executive briefings, and some contract negotiations and support of historical spend tracking. Will support the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, and negotiations as it relates to contracts within global portfolio. Will primarily support company's portfolio of telecom suppliers and be accountable for ensuring all supplier governance and management policies are communicated within Supplier Governance and the partners within this portfolio. Multi-functional position that manages both the relationship and the contract management. Ensure relationships are established and ongoing meetings occur between Supplier and company to ensure the supplier is meeting company's contract lifecycle management within portfolio ensure suppliers are meeting contract commitments and assist Operations in interpreting contract commitments (e.g. Change Orders, contract single point of contact, and company's contract reviews and training). Refine, implement, communicate, and monitor SGO’s supplier governance framework processes for portfolio of suppliers. Collaborate with Legal, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Governance Office on best practices, policies, and templates in regard to contracts and supplier management. Measure supplier performance through the use of a standard scorecard and track improvement progress to ensure IT suppliers are held accountable to quality and cost effective delivery of service.. Provide visibility to governance and commercial management teams on issues and facilitate dispute resolution and help gain consensus and alignment between the supplier and Global IT functions. Participate as needed in project charter, business case, and financial commitment development for supplier contracts. Continuous research to learn and implement best practices in outsourcing and supplier management. Monitor, analyze, forecast and report on contractual commitments and ensures execution. Capture violation of contracts, including compliance issues - and manages escalation. Ensure that contracts evolve with the relationship by ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation. Coordinate renewals, negotiations, amendments, Statements of Work and other contract related changes. Contribute to the Global IT service strategy including recommendations to supplier service changes to align with company and IT Function goals. Assist with service benchmarking and ensure supplier scorecards are completed in a timely manner. Guide Operational Leadership team to sustain service/business planning, strategies, and priorities for suppliers in portfolio . Own lifecycle for assigned contracts, such as contracts shared across multiple service components. Drive visibility to assigned contract renewal pipeline and ensure contracts are renewed timely. Collaborate with company's strategic sourcing and procurement as well as support the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, and negotiations, as it relates to contracts within global portfolio. Assist cost center owners and Finance in understanding how contract costs impact P&L. Assist regional advisors and other team members in validating supplier volumes and ensuring billing and true-ups are in alignment with agreed terms. MSA & Key Contract Management (Maintain and Discuss Rate Card, Renegotiation, Current/Historical spend, Service Credit Tracking). Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: 10+ years of experience in IT or Business Management. 5+ years of experience in IT vendor supplier management or sourcing management. Experience with supplier contract management and terms interpretation. Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Strong business system and financial analysis experience. Experience in managing third party telecom suppliers in a global, managed services environment. Problem management and continuous improvement experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization, including the ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to technical and non-technical people as well as executives. Ability to work across multiple groups and geographies to solve problems and avoid service level risk. Ability to influence and create alignment between IT and suppliers. Good leadership skills in managing groups, building consensus, managing remote teams and resolving conflicts. Ability to work within a global teams and work independently. High level of business acumen to understand terms and conditions of contracts as it pertains to business services and future state needs. Ability to analyze complex situations and implement solutions. Possess excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills necessary for team coordination, helping partners, and service discussions with IT leadership and suppliers. Demonstrated proficiency in financial or data analysis. Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in IT Related field. 5+ years of people management experience and providing leadership across multiple IT disciplines. 5+ years of experience in managing service providers, vendors, or third party contracts, experience as paralegal. Creation or management of process improvement methodology Experience in Global Procurement organization. Experience in metrics development, reporting and analysis. Experience with IT Telecom and Infrastructure technologies. Work experience in multiple countries.
