Legal Assistant, Corporate Duties: Report to the Manager of Corporate Governance and assist with a variety of corporate governance matters (e.g., preparation of board and committee materials, maintenance of corporate records, Section 16 filings and subsidiary corporate governance), as well as certain matters related to Sustainability/Corporate Social Responsibility. Assist Corporate Secretary with preparation and maintenance of corporate records as well as preparation and delivery of board and committee materials. Coordinate and prepare documents necessary for formation and maintenance of foreign subsidiaries. Prepare Section 16 filings for directors and key executive officers, including Forms 3, 4 and 5. Assist with planning and execution of Annual Stockholders’ Meeting. Maintain certain databases related to compliance with the Company’s Sustainability/Corporate Social Responsibility program, including data collection from internal and external supply chain partners. Provide administrative support to General Counsel and other members of the team.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 2+ years of professional experience working as a corporate legal assistant or paralegal. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Team player attitude. High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information.
