Legal Secretary The candidate will join the general practice where the emphasis is on family law, probate, general litigation and residential conveyancing. Will be involved with large amount of typing and collation of various legal documents; typing of correspondence using a Dictaphone; contact with clients, barristers and other legal staff; diary management; file maintenance and archiving; performing other administrative tasks as required.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 4-5 years of litigation experience with an excellent typing speed. Previous experience dealing with the various Courts will be required. Ideally, should have advanced organisational and communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role within a law firm will be required. Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (particularly Word) will be required. Accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proof reading skills are required. Excellent Digital Dictation skills is preferred. Must be technologically savvy. Fluency with English will be required.
