Litigation - Foreclosure (Lender-side)

Paralegal - Litigation Duties: Bundling and support indexing. Preparing reports for Court. Assisting fee-earners in monitoring legal developments and sharing with the department. File management and some billing administration. Assisting with preparation for seminars and publications. Managing disclosure exercises. Liaising with third party providers (e.g. e-disclosure providers). Assisting with fee tracking. Attending client meetings to gather information on legal matters. Preparing and drafting legal documents under supervision. Conducting research and sharing knowledge on legal developments with team members. Working collaboratively with colleagues from other practice groups and offices to obtain advice on legal issues. Liaising with government authorities where relevant. Preparing a personal development plan. Assisting other fee earners in the department.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Legal qualification or degree in law essential. Prior experience as a paralegal preferred, ideally gained from working within an international law firm in the UAE. Fluent in English and Arabic. High work standards. Excellent writing and drafting skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organisational and problem solving skills. Ability to confidently deal with demanding situations, people and requirements. Ability to analyse numbers. Strong document management skills. Strong client service orientation. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and online research tools. Flexible and efficient work practices and ability to adapt style. Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage own caseload . Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people across the business. Ability to work well in both a team and individually. Keen to develop and use initiative. Respects and enjoys the diversity of cultural, social and academic backgrounds found in the Firm.
