Senior Paralegal The candidate will provide paralegal support to the Corporate and Commercial Law practice group, the Department's external and internal clients, and outside counsel. Must be experienced in reviewing Letters of Intent, purchase and sales agreements, lease agreements, tenant work letters, title reports, estoppel certificates and SNDAs. Will manage intake of and response to regulatory affairs issues/inquiries, including: maintaining database of regulatory affairs matters, triage to appropriate team members/stakeholders, researching applicable statute/regulations, collaborating with appropriate SMEs and stakeholders, drafting & submitting the final response. Develop and maintain internal electronic filing system to store and track regulatory affairs/compliance matters. Develop processes and corresponding job aides to assist with standardization of responses and enhanced team performance improvement. Able to accurately analyze documents and communicate effectively is must. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. Should have 5-10 years of related legal experience to include successful completion of a paralegal or legal assistant training program required. Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards and processes to track and trend compliance/regulatory affairs matters and internal projects is advantageous. Knowledge of health care compliance principles, policies, practices and standards is needed. Proficiency with PC applications, including: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is advantageous. Knowledge of Federal & CA State Pharmacy laws/regulations is needed.
