Volunteers In Police Service Internship / Volunteer The candidate working with a task or field supervisor, students and volunteers will have the opportunity to learn and gain a better understanding of the Law Enforcement Field by participating and getting hands on experience assisting in these various areas: Training Scenario Role Playing, Crime scene reconstruction, Crime Mapping, Administrative/clerical support, Assisting with cold cases, Victim Advocacy Support Services, Translation, Volunteer Crime Scene Investigators, Search and Rescue, Social Media, Information Desk Help, COP Shops, Cleaning and gassing police vehicles, Fingerprinting. Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Should be able to commit to a minimum 4 months (semester long) and must be enrolled in current college or university requiring a field placement/internship Duration: Early June – Early August.
