Paralegal The candidate will join the organization, delivering pro bono transactional legal services to low-income entrepreneurs and small non-profits in Minnesota through the services of volunteer business lawyers. Types of projects in need of Pro Bono help: mentor volunteer lawyers or law students, prepare legal education materials, transactional work; draft or translate legal documents, mentor volunteer lawyers; provide brief advice to clients by phone. Will work in the following area of law: Community Development, Debt/Credit/Bankruptcy, Employment, Nonprofit Organizations, Taxes, Business. The organization will provide malpractice insurance for volunteers, provide training, CLE credit for trainings, and CLE credit for pro bono. Need for non-English services: Hmong, Laotian, Somali, Spanish.
