Equipment Finance Documentation Specialist II The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of documents for loans as well as performing due diligence checks on loan documentation. Provides client facing customer service and is responsible for identifying and correcting loan errors. Addresses moderately complex deals and be able to work with other groups to solve problems. Develops a closing schedule for commercial lending transactions. Works to close commercial lending transactions understands various lease and loan structures. Accurately prepares documents to specifications of credit approval, deal requirements and documentation policy and procedures. Effectively satisfies documentation due diligence. Reviews key business entity papers for signing authority, corporate resolutions, operating agreements and certificates of incumbency. Resolves exceptions and obtain missing documentation. Exercises judgment and determine when escalation should occur and perform qualification analysis to eligibility. Follows regulatory and compliance requirements to assure perfection of security interest on new and existing transactions.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should preferably have Associate's degree or paralegal certification or equivalent experience. Must have 3+ years of work experience in commercial lending and equipment leasing with focus on deal closing and transaction documentation. Should understand basic requirements related to sales, use and property tax. Ability to read and understand pricing run formats including T-Value, and InfoAnaylsis is required. Should understand how to calculate repayments structures and yields. Understand and follow process for compliance with UCC, motor vehicle titling and insurance requirements.
