Litigation - Foreclosure (Lender-side)
Law Clerk The candidate will assist associates and partners in practice of law. Will expose to a broad range of intellectual property issues. Typical projects include conducting legal research in prosecution and litigation matters, reviewing preliminary novelty searches, drafting amendments and responses to Patent Office Actions and drafting patent applications. Work with attorneys on trademark registrations and trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trials and Appeals Board. Research various aspects of copyright law including both the registration and protection of clients' copyrights.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have engineering or scientific backgrounds. Must be ranked in the top quarter of law school class or maintain a 3.30 GPA. Registration as a patent agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is also favored.
