Intellectual Property - Pharmaceutical and Biochemical Patent Agent or Patent Scientist The candidate should have: An advanced degree in a life science field or chemistry, preferably in biochemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or molecular biology, as well as a successful academic record and strong communication skills, including technical writing. Experience with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is also a plus, but not required. If you have no prior experience in Intellectual Property, then we will provide the necessary training in the preparation and prosecution of patents through the Firm's formal patent agent training program. Must have an interest in the legal profession, and have the enthusiasm, personality, and commitment to succeed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
