Legal Assistant/Senior The candidate drafts and types correspondence, memoranda and other corporate Legal documents. Performs basic research and/or maintains litigation dockets and various reports. Reads, sorts, date-stamps and distributes incoming mail. Maintains calendars, including making appointments, and makes travel arrangements. Processes and codes invoices and expense statements. Maintains Legal files in accordance with standard procedures. Answers, screens and records telephone calls.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have High school diploma or GED. Must have 6+ years of legal administrative experience. Advanced education is preferred. Should have strong ability to proofread and edit routine Legal correspondence and other documents. Must have strong technology skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and database applications.
