Summer Paralegal Internship Program Legal intern will join the Bureau of Criminal Justice : mortgage fraud Division. The purpose of the Bureau of Criminal Justice is to prosecute, prevent, and punish crime under the Attorney General's criminal prosecution authority and to uphold the convictions of organization's most serious offenders in federal habeas corpus actions. The Bureau of Criminal Justice is comprised of the Fraud Unit, Special Prosecutions Division, and Medicaid Fraud Unit. Legal Intern will get an opportunity to learn about careers in law and law enforcement. To the greatest extent possible, legal Interns will learn of opportunities to attend trials, court hearings, or oral arguments involving Attorney General legal staff. Projects of broader application might include but litigation support such as witness interviews, document organization and other tasks as assigned under staff supervision. Law students, paralegal students, undergraduates, and high school students will be considered. Application Deadline: Summer Internship Program Semester : June-August.
