Legal Assistant, CRM The candidate will serve in the trial preparation to include copying, document review, document organization, bates stamping, legal research and searching documents in Concordance/Relativity/Summation. Will serve during trial, load documents to and run Sanction presentations. Conducting legal research and analysis. Preparation of various legal documents, reports correspondence and technical research documents. Digest and index legal documents. Assist attorneys with case organization and trial preparation. Use of computer technology in support of investigations and courtroom presentations. Conduct witness interviews. Communicate with other DOJ components, Federal agencies and others as required in the course of investigation and litigation.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a 3.00 GPA. Must have 1 year of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree. Certain assignments may require experience or substantial undergraduate coursework in, for example, finance/accounting, health care, or substantial experience in the legal environment or in information technology. Extensive travel and trial support experience helpful. Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Oracle, Concordance, Summation, Trial Director, etc. Should be a knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
