Consultant, Ringtail On Premise The candidate will be responsible for leading workflow consulting projects and working directly with company clients to lead the design, development, including documentation, and delivery of standardized workflows from data load through review and production. In this role, will be responsible for the strategic planning and direction of workflow consulting projects, including working closely with other company consultants to bring together the appropriate team of experts from across the organization to satisfy the specific business requirements and needs for each engagement. This work includes delivering on-site and remote assistance to clients with established workflows and a goal of enabling clients to be self-sufficient in their administration, management and optimized use of company products. Keys to success in this position include being a visionary, possessing the ability to develop a strategic plan of action to complement each client’s business requirements, and to lead a team of consultants in the delivery of the project. Must also have a passion for: helping others optimize their use of technology; reengineering and developing processes and procedures; change management; and managing multi-faceted projects. Assess workflow requirements based on clients’ tactical needs and business objectives, then develop a strategic plan to design, document and deliver a workflow that meets those requirements. Identify weaknesses and gaps in existing business and technology use, processes and best practices, then design a workflow consulting project that will optimize client’s use of technology and close the gaps. Bring together a team of company experts to partner together in developing custom processes, defined best practices, and optimized use of technology to fit clients’ business model and needs. Lead, and participate as a contributor on, the company team that will document workflows, processes and best practices developed specifically for each client, and deliver to client in conjunction with roll-out. Assist clients on-site with managing document loading and review projects using company software. Manage product use and workflow consulting projects, in addition to participating actively on the delivery team. Be responsible for engagement management, including client and internal (to company stakeholders) communication, progress reports and project status updates. Become proficient in all aspects of company’s products and applications regarding their functionality and associated technologies.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should preferably have Bachelor’s degree in communications or technology-related field (or commensurate experience), and experience in a legal profession or a J.D. in law. Experienced in technology process design and use consulting related to legal or e-discovery software strongly preferred. 8+ years of experience in a legal profession, attorney or paralegal is preferred. Must have 5+ years of experience specifically developing and delivering workflow consulting or related work. Must have prior experience within the legal industry, including a deep understanding of litigation and litigation process. Should have exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Must have following ability: Proven ability to quickly learn all aspects of technical software products; Ability to work with minimal supervision yet still be a valuable contributor to a larger team; Ability to manage projects independently, lead a team of consultants, and meet planned deadlines; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-organizationally; Ability to travel to customer sites to deliver consulting work.
