Legal Claims Coordinator Duties: Maintains legal claims files and electronic databases relating to tracking claims, including opening and closing claims and updating files and databases as claims progress. Assists in coordinating investigation of claims including gathering documents for internal and external sources, reviewing claim files, and creating summaries and reports regarding claims. Creates reports regarding the status of claims and communicates with internal and external parties regarding the status of cases and claims. Coordinates with in-house and external counsel, as well as consultants, regarding claims analysis and strategy. Coordinates litigation efforts regarding claims management, including assisting in coordinating information gathering from personnel and databases. Gathers and inputs data. Makes appropriate notifications, regarding financial information pertaining to claims, including billing, financial reserves and insurance data.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred. Paralegal certification preferred. 2+ years of legal claims. administration experience. Ability to multi-task and prioritize; strong. communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
