Corporate Paralegal Specialist Responsibilities: Supporting the SVP and GC with corporate governance matters, including assisting in the preparation of board materials. Preparing and filing legal documents with appropriate entities, as required and overall corporate maintenance of legal entities. Reviewing of contract requests, gathering any additional required information, choosing and populating appropriate templates, interfacing with internal business stakeholders, managing contract draft versions and redlines, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in processing contract requests and engaging the appropriate support and escalation as needed. Shepherding contracts through the contracting process efficiently and carefully to ensure contracts are executed on time. Administrator of legal request tool in SalesForce. Providing legal and administrative assistance to attorneys and management. Taking accountability in delivering value to Mitchell and its customers, partners, and vendors.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or a Legal qualification such as a Paralegal. 3-5 years of directly applicable experience in a contracts specialist/ contracts administration and a corporate support role. Working knowledge of common commercial agreements and terms and conditions. Experience in software, software-as-a-service or other intellectual property licensing preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and on own initiative or as part of a team. Research and investigative skills. Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
